Your appointment
At Phoenix, we don't like to rush something as important as your healthcare: whether you choose online, phone or face-to-face treatment, we devote substantial time to each patient. Our thorough approach demands that we do extensive work on your case before each session, and after your consultation has ended and you have gone home: for every hour we spend with you, on average, a further half to three hours' work is usually required. Our fees reflect the extra time taken that professional and thorough 21st-century homeopathy demands.
When you book your initial appointment, we set aside 3 hours for your practitioner to devote to your case. Your first consultation takes up 1hr 45min of this time, and the rest is spent on initial casework (including drawing up your timeline and preparing a treatment plan), as well as hand-preparing your first prescription.
Approximately 1hr 15min is devoted to each follow-up session: 45-50 minutes is spent in consultation with you, and the rest is used for casework and preparing your prescription.
Children's appointments may take less time, or may be divided into two sessions (one with the parent/guardian, and one with the parent/guardian and the child) to allow the parent/guardian to discuss any sensitive matters outside the child’s hearing, and to reduce the boredom factor for restless children.

Phoenix fees include all regular in-house homeopathic remedies made up for you as a result of the consultation, so there are no nasty surprises! You will be supplied with all the remedies we expect you to need between the end of one consultation and the start of the next.
We occasionally recommend that you consider additional items (like flower essences, herbal mother tinctures or nutritional supplements) to underpin your treatment: these are kept to a minimum, and are always optional. We never recommend a healthcare product unless there is a good reason. Any additional items that are not easily available in the shops can usually be sourced for you by reception.
A prescription charge is made for any remedies unexpectedly required between appointments, but this can be avoided if you have invested in a homeopathic self-help kit, available from reception or via www.holistic2go.com.
free healthcare advice between appointments
At Phoenix, we support your healing as fully as practicable, so if you are attending regular appointments, the fee you pay also entitles you to a maximum of 15 minutes of free telephone or email advice between each appointment during the phone-in times. This means that help is available if you need it, including for any acute ailments which may crop up, for example flu, colds, sore throats, or minor injuries.
